Terms of Service

The deal. ClearResume helps you build and tailor resumes. Building and exporting are free; Pro and Lifetime unlock AI tailoring, cover letters, and the recruiter screen. By using the service you agree to these terms.
Accounts. You must give an accurate email and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may sign in with email and password or with Google.
You own your content and are responsible for its accuracy. Our truthfulness dial reframes your real background and flags any added figures — but you must confirm every claim is true before you send it. We are not liable for inaccuracies you submit or for hiring outcomes.
Acceptable use. Don’t abuse the AI endpoints, attempt to fabricate credentials, scrape the service, or upload other people’s data without permission. We may suspend accounts that do.
Billing. Paid plans are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew until cancelled; Lifetime is a one-time payment. You can cancel anytime and keep access until the period ends. Refunds are at our discretion except where required by law.
Termination. You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
No warranty & liability. The service is provided “as is,” without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
Changes. We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept them. Material changes are reflected by the “last updated” date.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
